Red Heart Yarns and WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease have joined forces to create the HeartScarves Project Kit featuring everything you need to knit or crochet a red scarf. HeartScarves provides handmade red scarves to members of WomenHeart Support Networks, and to women undergoing cardiac procedures. The red scarves offer comfort, support, and encouragement for a woman with heart disease and become a part of her healing journey. For every kit purchased, Red Heart will donate $3 to WomenHeart.

• One skein of Red Heart® Super Saver™ yarn in 319 Cherry Red
• Susan Bates size US I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook
• Instructions from Red Heart for crocheting a scarf
• Information as to why knitting and crocheting are good for your own heart health and heart care tips from Women Heart Organization.
• Gift tag for your special personalized message of hope and encouragement to the recipient, along with directions on how to mail your finished scarf.
